Over the past several months WISE Services has been on a journey to expand and sustain the program, especially in and around New York City. Pelham Memorial High School, Roslyn High Schools, and The Bronx Leadership Academy 2 have initiated successful programs. Bronxwood Preparatory Academy in the Bronx is in its first year with the program.

At Brooklyn’s Midwood High School WISE’s Vic Leviatin and Dave Greene spoke with social studies Assistant Principals from several Brooklyn and Queens Schools about WISE.   WISE is also currently negotiating with Richard R. Green High School of Teaching in lower Manhattan and The Eagle Academy for Young Men in the Bronx (with the possibility of sliding into three other Eagle Academies in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Newark). Finally, productive conversations have also been started at Crotona International, Brooklyn Prospect Charter, and Facing History and Ourselves High Schools.

The immediate result is our welcoming VOYAGES (“Viable Options for Young Adults to Grow, Excel and Succeed,”) High School in Queens, NY into the Wise Family.
