Ellen Peifer

We met Teaching Assistant Ellen Peifer recently at Woodlands High School where she is passionate about supporting the WISE program.

“I was trained to assist,” said Ms. Peifer. “I really enjoy working with the WISE students at Woodlands.”

Her two daughters have also gone through the WISE program at Woodlands. Her oldest daughter did a teaching WISE project in 1989, while her youngest, who is now a Speech Pathologist, interned at the New York School for the Deaf during her senior year at Woodlands in 1990.

With such strong connections to Woodlands and WISE, Ms. Peifer is an extra set of hands that helps the Woodlands WISE program thrive.
